The Human Rights Unit at the Technical Engineering College organized a scientific seminar on Sunday, 15 February 2026, entitled “Children’s Rights and the Formation of the Individual of Tomorrow,” held in the Continuing Education Hall. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohanad Sameer Al-Sodani, along with a distinguished group of faculty members and students. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Haneen Latif Abdul Wahab.

The seminar addressed several key themes, focusing on the conceptualization of children’s rights and the importance of institutionalizing these rights within society. It also highlighted the role of educational institutions in promoting legal awareness and in cultivating a conscious and responsible generation capable of contributing to sustainable societal development. The event witnessed active engagement from attendees through interventions and discussions that enriched the seminar’s themes and reinforced its educational and awareness-raising objectives.
