The Technical Engineering College organized an introductory workshop on the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI 2026). The event was held in the Continuing Education Hall of the college and was presented by the Championship Coordinator at Al-Bayan University, Dr. Maryam Najdat Mohammed Saleh. The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohanad Sameer Al-Sodani, along with a number of faculty members and students interested in technical and innovative fields.

The workshop included a comprehensive presentation outlining the mechanisms for participation in the championship, the procedures for forming student teams, and the process for selecting academic supervisors. It also provided a detailed explanation of the project tracks and disciplinary areas covered by the competition. Participants’ inquiries were addressed, and practical guidance was offered to enable students to prepare effectively and engage actively in the competition.

This workshop forms part of the college’s ongoing efforts to support scientific activities and foster a culture of innovation among students, thereby enhancing their applied competencies and enabling them to represent the university in a distinguished manner.
