The women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Health and Medical Techniques organized an awareness lecture on the dangers of electronic blackmail, violence and harassment, in which the head of the women’s affairs unit, assistant. Prof.Dr.Aaliyah Kadhim Salem gave and the most important points touched upon by the lecture:
1-definition of the meaning of electronic blackmail and its common forms in society.
2-addressing the means used in extortion and how to lure the victim and its various types as blackmail with photos and videos in order to get money or compromise principles.
3-the safety measures used and how to treat them and the correct applications to prevent those phenomena.
4-protecting the individual from blackmail by not sharing private information on the internet.
5-applying the updated technical safety instructions so that the individual remains ready and vigilant.
