On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Technical Engineering College at Al-Bayan University organized a seminar entitled “Women’s Rights: Empowerment and Full Participation,” delivered by Dr. Maryam Najdat, on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

The seminar addressed key concepts related to women’s rights, emphasizing the importance of empowering women and strengthening their active participation across various spheres of life, particularly in scientific and societal fields. Such efforts contribute to achieving sustainable development and building a society founded on equal opportunities.

The event also witnessed active engagement from attendees, who participated through several interventions and questions focusing on ways to support and enhance the role of women and empower them within academic and societal institutions.
