The Technical Engineering College at Al-Bayan University held, on Monday, 9 March 2026, an introductory workshop on the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI 2026). The event was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Jabbar Hussein Ali, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohanad Sameer Al-Sodani, as well as a number of faculty members and students.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Dina Kadhim Mohsen, a member of the ministerial team responsible for the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications and Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Technology. She reviewed the participation mechanism for the championship, the team registration process, and the competition timeline, in addition to explaining the nature of the required projects, the evaluation criteria, and the adopted judging procedures.

The workshop also witnessed active engagement from faculty members and students, who raised numerous questions and inquiries regarding participation procedures and project preparation requirements. This interaction contributed to clarifying the organizational and academic aspects of the championship and encouraged students to take part in it.
