In activation of the framework for joint scientific and professional cooperation between Al-Bayan University and the Ministry of Health, the Communicable Disease Control Center (CDCC) within the Public Health Department organized a specialized scientific lecture. The session targeted fourth-stage students of the Community Health Nursing Department at the College of Nursing, Al-Bayan University.
The lecture included a detailed explanation of contemporary communicable diseases, their surveillance methods, and control strategies, with a focus on the preventive measures required to limit their spread within community settings. This activity is part of a series of joint training programs aimed at enriching the students’ knowledge base and bridging the gap between theoretical academic aspects and the field reality of public health in Iraq.
