The course aimed to enhance students’ skills in understanding and classifying English consonant sounds, given their fundamental role in improving accurate pronunciation and strengthening teaching competencies—particularly for students and faculty in language-related disciplines.
It also focused on consonant articulation and proper points of articulation, highlighting their significant role in achieving correct pronunciation, reducing common pronunciation errors, and improving effective communication.
This course is part of a series of activities organized by the Continuing Education Unit, which seeks to elevate academic and professional standards and provide participants with up-to-date knowledge aligned with modern academic developments.
