The college of Health and Medical Techniques/continuing education unit organized a training course on 2026/4/7 on the examination of the volume of stacked cells, which was given by the lecturers Russell Adnan Dawood and , Doaa Abdul Aziz Subhi and Mohsen Rashid Mohsen, where the examination (volume of stacked cells) is one of the basic tests in hematology, as it measures the ratio of the volume of erythrocytes to the total volume of blood.
This examination is usually done using a centrifuge to separate the components of the blood, which helps to accurately estimate the amount of red blood cells.
The importance of this examination comes in being an important indicator for the diagnosis of many pathological conditions such as anemia and polycythemia.
Therefore, it is widely used in medical laboratories to assess the general state of health of the patient.
