The Continuing Education Unit at the Technical Engineering College – Al-Bayan University organized a training course entitled “Fundamentals of Cybersecurity.” This initiative forms part of the Unit’s ongoing efforts to enhance technical competencies and keep pace with rapid digital advancements.
The course addressed both theoretical and practical dimensions, focusing on core cybersecurity concepts, the critical importance of safeguarding systems and networks, and an overview of major cyber threats alongside effective prevention strategies. These components collectively contribute to the development of students’ skills and the elevation of their technological awareness.
The course was delivered by Dr. Nouf Thabit Mahmoud and is part of a broader series of programs implemented by the Continuing Education Unit, aimed at preparing qualified personnel capable of meeting the evolving demands of the modern technology-driven labor market.
