The Unit of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the College of Nursing at Al-Bayan University held an educational scientific seminar titled “(The Psychological and Physical Hazards of Addiction)” on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The seminar was presented by Prof. Dr. Saja Hashem Mohammed at the college’s Continuing Education Hall.
The seminar focused on highlighting the consequences of addiction and its direct impact on an individual’s mental and physical health, in addition to reviewing the behaviors associated with this phenomenon and strategies to mitigate its risks. This seminar is part of a series of awareness activities that the college is keen to organize to enhance health and educational awareness among students and the academic community.
