The Council of the College of Health and Medical Techniques held its (eighth) regular session for the academic year 2025-2026 on Monday, 13/4/2026, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Ghaith Ali Jasim, dean of the college and the presence of all council members
At the beginning of the session, the chairman of the council welcomed the members of the college council, wishing them success, calling on Allah Almighty to repay everyone’s footsteps to serve Iraq and its people.
The college council discussed the agenda of the session and the most important :
1-discussing the memos of the scientific committee and following up the publication of scientific research submitted within the scientific plan for the academic year 2025-2026.
2-discussing the crisis management plan: it aims to ensure the continuation of education, maintain the integrity of exams, and reduce academic and administrative losses in the event of emergency circumstances that disrupt official work.
3-discuss the completion rates of academic accreditation standards and emphasize the follow-up of all available evidence and data.
4-discussing the importance of electronic archiving of staff data, letters, and official books of the college.
5-discuss the requirements of the labor market to develop the curriculum and host one of the employers (assistant.Prof.Dr.Abdulkader Mohammed Abdulkader) director of the Haya medical laboratories chain and president of Smart Foundation for training and development, where the importance of the practical side and the need to keep abreast of developments in laboratory equipment were emphasized.
Finally, highlighting the students ‘ acquisition of communication skills.
