As part of ongoing efforts to promote awareness of human rights culture and to reinforce humanitarian values, the Human Rights Unit at the Technical Engineering College, Al-Bayan University, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Human Rights and the Human Rights of Refugees Know No Boundaries” on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Ahmed Mahmoud Farhan and attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohanad Sameer Al-Sodani.

The seminar addressed key themes related to the concept of human rights and the rights of refugees and internally displaced persons in light of contemporary challenges. It emphasized the importance of ensuring legal and humanitarian protection in accordance with international conventions, as well as enhancing societal awareness of these critical issues.

The event witnessed active participation from students, who contributed through questions and discussions that enriched the dialogue and broadened attendees’ understanding of globally significant humanitarian concerns.
