Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs Participates as a Keynote Speaker at an International Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Embodying Al-Bayan University’s vision to enhance its scientific presence in international forums, Prof. Dr. Hasnain Faisal Ghazi, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Nursing, participated as a keynote speaker in the International Conference on Public Health Innovations and Sustainable Development Goals (ICPHI 2026). This participation underscores the university’s commitment to global academic exchange and the advancement of public health research.
The conference was held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, from May 13 to 15, 2026, under the theme: “Advancing Public Health and Health Equity: From Policy to Implementation within the SDG Framework.”* The prestigious event brought together a wide array of researchers, academics, and healthcare professionals from around the globe.
During the conference sessions, Prof. Dr. Hasanain Faisal Ghazi delivered an insightful and distinguished scientific lecture titled:
“Nutrition for a Healthier Future: The Role of Healthy Food Systems in Public Health and Sustainable Development”
The lecture focused on the vital and direct impact of dietary systems in supporting sustainable development goals, improving public health outcomes, and their essential role in achieving social health equity. The presentation received widespread engagement and praise from the audience, reflecting the high academic standing and expertise of Al-Bayan University’s faculty on the global stage.
