The Deanship of the Technical Engineering College at Al-Bayan University extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Taha Mahmoud Abbas and his student team from the Department of Computer Engineering Techniques on the qualification of AI Cartel for the final stage of the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (NURAI 2026), held under the patronage of the Prime Minister’s Office.

This achievement reflects the team’s excellence and its ability to compete at national-level scientific and technological events through its outstanding project, “SAFETY CAM: AI-Based Personnel Protective Equipment and Asset Tracking System,” which employs artificial intelligence technologies to enhance safety and facilitate the tracking of personal protective equipment (PPE) and assets.

The Deanship emphasizes that this accomplishment reflects the high level of scientific knowledge and technical skills demonstrated by the College’s students, as well as the dedicated efforts of the supervisor and team in developing and implementing the project.
