As part of the objectives of the Technical Engineering College at Al-Bayan University to advance scientific research, promote international academic engagement, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise, Dr. Mayameen Salman Kadhim, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering Technologies, participated in a research and academic programme at Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), People’s Republic of China.

The programme included exploring recent technological developments, laboratory facilities, and research capabilities, as well as participating in scientific activities and delivering specialised lectures and seminars. It also provided an opportunity to discuss prospects for research and academic collaboration between the two universities.

This international engagement reflects Al-Bayan University’s commitment to supporting its academic staff in participating in international scientific programmes and expanding research partnerships. Such initiatives contribute to strengthening the capabilities of academic staff, fostering the research environment within the College, and establishing new avenues for international scientific collaboration.
