The Continuing Education Center at Al-Bayan University held an introductory workshop on its new Electronic Continuing Education Platform on 28 September 2026. The workshop was attended by the Deans of the University’s colleges and the Heads of Continuing Education Units across all colleges.
The workshop began with a welcome address by Dr. Mohammed Isam Naji, Director of the Continuing Education Center, who welcomed the attendees and emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination between the Center and the Continuing Education Units. He also highlighted the role of the electronic platform in organizing and managing training programs and courses.
The workshop introduced the main functions of the platform, including the procedures for creating and approving training courses, managing participant information, and issuing certificates. It also covered payment procedures and the main administrative processes related to the implementation of training courses.
The workshop further discussed ways to improve training programs by strengthening their practical and applied components. Participants also discussed methods for promoting training programs, increasing student participation, and improving communication with participants.
The workshop concluded with an open discussion session, during which the attendees shared their questions, comments, and suggestions. The discussion focused on strengthening coordination between the Continuing Education Center and the Continuing Education Units and supporting the effective and organized implementation of the annual training plan.
