As part of the activities of the Continuing Education Center at Al-Bayan Private University, and within the framework of organizing and supporting courses for the university’s colleges across various disciplines, the College of Fine Arts launched its first course for the first semester of the 2026–2027 academic year on October 4, 2026, for two consecutive days.
The course, entitled “Applications of Ergonomics in Interior Design,” was directed to students of the Department of Interior Design and was delivered by Dr. Abdulkhaliq Sameen, a faculty member in the Department of Interior Design at the College of Fine Arts.
The course provided a detailed explanation of the various applications of ergonomics in interior design, with the aim of creating suitable and comfortable interior environments for users while taking into consideration differences in age groups, cultures, behaviors, and needs.
The course witnessed clear interaction from most of the participating students and received positive feedback. It also contributed to enhancing their knowledge and expanding their understanding of ergonomic principles and their applications in interior design.
