In conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) and under the slogan “Live It Safely,” the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Nursing, Al-Bayan University, in collaboration with the Health Promotion Program at Al-Bayaa Primary Health Care Center, organized an awareness seminar titled “Be Aware… Be Strong… Let’s Talk About Breast Cancer” on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
The seminar was delivered by Dr. Maysam Dhiaa Younis, focusing on raising health awareness and promoting preventive culture among community members, with a special emphasis on women. The lecture highlighted the critical role of early detection and periodic screenings in saving lives and improving health outcomes.
The event underscored the importance of making health awareness a continuous lifestyle practice, encouraging collective efforts to spread optimism and preventive knowledge that contribute to disease prevention and public health enhancement.
