As part of its ongoing efforts to develop the practical and clinical skills of students and graduates, the College of Nursing, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at Al-Bayan University, held a specialized training course entitled:
“Basic Surgical Skills: The Art and Techniques of Wound Suturing”
The course was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Wissam Essam Abdul-Masih.
The course included a theoretical component addressing the fundamental principles of wound suturing and the surgical techniques used, in addition to practical applications conducted in the College’s laboratories, giving participants the opportunity to acquire essential skills and strengthen their practical experience in this field.
More than 70 trainees from among the College’s students and graduates took part in the course, a step that reflects the University’s interest in providing an interactive training environment that contributes to developing nursing competencies and enhancing participants’ readiness to meet practical requirements in healthcare institutions.
This course is part of the College of Nursing’s efforts to support continuing education, link theoretical knowledge with practical application, and raise the standard of nursing education and training.
