On the occasion of the International and National Days of Older Persons, the College of Nursing at Al-Bayan University held a seminar entitled "Geriatric Nursing", delivered by Dr. Batool Ali Hassan, Director of the Older Adults' Health Division, Department of Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases, Public Health Directorate, Ministry of Health, in the Continuing Education Hall of the College. In alignment with the principle of academic and scientific cooperation among educational institutions, Prof. Dr. Hassanein Faisal Ghazi, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Nursing, Al-Bayan University, delivered a scientific lecture at Al-Turath University titled: "Artificial Intelligence in Scientific Research: Ethical and Smart Use of Digital Tools." The lecture addressed the importance of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into scientific research workflows, leveraging modern digital tools to enhance research quality and academic productivity. It emphasized the critical need for responsible and ethical utilization of these technologies while upholding scientific integrity, transparency, and intellectual property rights.

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop the practical and clinical skills of students and graduates, the College of Nursing, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at Al-Bayan University, held a specialized training course entitled: "Basic Surgical Skills: The Art and Techniques of Wound Suturing" The course was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Wissam Essam Abdul-Masih. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities, the College of Nursing held an awareness lecture for second-year students, delivered by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wafaa Mohammed Atoof. The lecture addressed breast cancer, its most prominent symptoms and warning signs, and the importance of early detection in enhancing treatment opportunities and improving health outcomes.
