The Council of the College of Pharmacy held its regular first meeting for the academic year 2025-2026, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassanein Sakban Taghi. The Scientific and Administrative Assistants to the Dean, heads of departments, and the head of the Quality Assurance Division also participated. The meeting hosted Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Jabbar Hussein Ali, Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs. The Council discussed the items on the agenda, which included proper preparation for the academic year, the assignment of academic tasks to faculty members, and the weekly schedules for the academic levels.

The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassanein Sakban Taghi, along with the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Amir Hussein Kadhim, and the Head of the Website Unit, Assistant Lecturer Maha Hikmat Philip, participated in the fifth edition of the International Health Exhibition and Conference. Dean Assit. Prof. Dr. Hassanein Sagban Taghi and a number of faculty members from the College of Pharmacy attended the Baghdad International Book Fair on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Al-Bayan University's booth.

The Pharmacy Research Panel, as part of the proceedings of the Third Al-Bayan Scientific Conference, witnessed the discussion of a number of research papers both electronically and in-person from Oman and Sudan, in addition to other local studies from Mosul, Al-Hadba, and Baghdad. The research papers were distributed across several scientific committees covering various pharmaceutical fields. It is worth noting that the College of Pharmacy was awarded the Excellence Shield for two research papers at the conclusion of the conference.

‏Based on the decision of the Council of Ministers and under the supervision of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Assistant Professor Dr. Shahbaa Shafiq from the College of Pharmacy and Head of the Performance Evaluation Division at the University participated in the training course organized by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. The course focused on the implementation of institutional performance evaluation standards according to the European Excellence Model (EFQM) and was held in Erbil Governorate during the period from April 12 to 17, 2025.
