Proceeding from our belief in the importance of environmental diversity, as climate change has become one of the most prominent topics on which the world is currently focused, as the vegetation cover is one of the important factors to maintain the balance of gases in the atmosphere and because of its positive impact in mitigating global warming, Al-Bayan University was established and under the supervision of the Follow-up Committee for the Implementation of A project to plant a million trees in Iraq on its gardens A nursery for the cultivation and development of oxygen-producing plants with an area of ​​50 square meters and the types urged by the management of the project to plant a million trees, which is adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the plant species in the nursery include the following trees: Olive, Washingtonia, Acacia, Moringa, Palm, Jacaranda and ficus N’Djamena in preparation for planting them on the university’s gardens and green spaces.
