The College of Nursing at Al-Bayan University organized an e-symposium entitled (Effects of Deep Breathing Exercises on COVID19 Patients) on Wednesday (February 17, 2021). Prof. Dr. Buthaina Bashir Saleh, a faculty member at the College of Nursing, spoke on the importance of deep breathing in getting rid of the patient's lungs' fluids. On Sunday (January 10, 2021), the Dean of the College of Nursing at Al-Bayan University (Prof. Dr. Wafaa Muhammad Atouf) checked on laboratories teaching progress in the college. The Dean also came across the students' needs and problems. The tour included the Adult Nursing labs. The Dean emphasized the necessity of adhering to social distancing procedures and following the Crisis Cell's directions for preventive safety.

The Student Activities Department at Al-Bayan University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing, organized a first aid training course for the period (7-8 May 2019) under the supervision of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society / Karkh Section. The course included theoretical explanations and practical exercises on urgent field aid and treatment. The Blue Crescent Student Team participated with 25 students in the training creating a team of intervention in emergency cases. College of Nursing / Al-Bayan University participated in the memorial ceremonies of the martyrdom of Imam Musa al-Kadhim (PBUH). Faculty and students established the Rufaida Al-Aslamiya Tent during the days of the ritual. The students provided daily medical, health, and therapeutic services to the pilgrims. The services included measuring vital signs as well as giving treatments for simple cases. The students provided these various nursing services under the supervision of the college administration.
